A Note on Our Photography Photography is an interesting journey. Few art forms can inspire both genuine admiration a nd equally passionate criticism. From the humble beginnings of SLR film photography to digital point-and-shoot cameras, digital SLRs, and now AI-generated and manipulated imagery, the tools have changed considerably. The debate over what makes a photograph good, however, remains as lively as ever. We’re not particularly interested in commercial photography, nor do we claim exceptional technical e xpertise. Some might even consider our equipment less than ideal. That’s fine. Our interest lies in creativity, capturing a moment, and expressing a point of view. We’re more than willing to stray from convention in pursuit of an image that speaks to us. We believe in preserving the essence of a photograph. Beyond adjustments such as cropping, lightening, or darkening, we generally leave our images as they were captured, much as photographers once worked in the darkroom. The goal isn’t technical perfection, but an image that conveys something worth seeing. Ultimately, these photographs are here because we like them. You may agree, disagree, admire, or criticize.
